Project Details: 

BSR Cable Park and Surf Resort is a world-renowned surfing destination that features a 140,000 sq ft surf lake, a cable wakeboarding lake, lazy river, waterslides, a hotel, and lakeside cabin accommodations.

Select Contracts brought 40+ years of operations experience to implement effective organizational and operational changes to an existing park.

 

The Brief:

Select Contracts worked together with existing ownership to manage the park operations and implement organizational changes to ensure a smooth transition as the business changes hands.

 

Our Approach: 

While the park has been renowned in Texas and known globally in the surfing world, an initial assessment by Select Contracts confirmed that the park could benefit from the introduction of a set of updated standard operating and health and safety procedures. 

We also undertook the planning, design, execution, monitoring and controlling of all on-site construction upgrades. We also conducted tendering and procurement of RFID access control and new point-of-sale systems and hardware.

 

The Result: 

Through careful business planning with a focus on company growth, we were able to identify key strategic investments to be made. We also conducted operational budget forecasting and implementation.

As part of our marketing scope, we completed a full rebranding of the park including a new logo, style guide and website as well as managing the promotion of the park via social media.
