Parkvida Bike Park is an off-grid, eco-adventure resort in the central mountainous region of the Dominican Republic adjacent to the Armando Bermudez National Park and insight of the highest peak in the Caribbean, Pico Duarte.

The knowledge and experience gained from developing our own mountain biking and sightseeing destination in Christchurch and from consulting on numerous others around the world were highly valuable in providing thoroughly researched and analyzed product and services recommendations.
The Brief:
Select Contracts was engaged to produce an extensive market study and phased development plan for this exciting new concept in the Caribbean and to provide ongoing development management.
Our Approach:
To complete the market study we performed a detailed site analysis and assessed the local, domestic and international markets to determine the target demographic for the project. These steps allowed us to make attraction recommendations that would be well suited to the target market and would sit well within the site.
The Result:
The resort will feature 200 beautifully appointed rooms and a bike park with a wide range of different trails. The park also featured a coffee plantation where visitors experience the coffee growing process firsthand, hiking trails, river swimming, and restaurants that cooked with locally grown produce.
