The Brief:
Select Contracts were engaged in 2014 to provide a review of eight UK shopping centre properties and their potential for leisure attractions.
Our Approach:
Select Contracts conducted on-location work with asset managers, general managers and commercialization teams to assess the unique strengths and limitations of each site. An intensive analysis of visitation demographic data was completed in order to identify a range of potential concepts that would be well suited to each property.
The Result:
The report demonstrated a cohesive approach to the potential introduction of significant leisure components across these centres, taking into account the respective constraints and characteristics of each. Recommendations were made for each property with a view to the company adopting an industry-leading approach to leisure as an integral part of its future strategy.
