Project Details:

A never-before conceptualized adventure water park design for a 60,000 square foot space in the state-of-the-art Royalmount Shopping Complex.

 

How Did We Help:

Our extensive experience designing indoor entertainment centres around the world was instrumental in providing highly feasible attraction recommendations and operationally efficient master plans. 

 

The Brief:

Select Contracts was appointed in July 2016 to lead the market research, conceptual design and business planning for the leisure aspect of the Royalmount shopping mall project.

 

Our Approach:

The initial scope of the project included an in-depth market study, business planning and all master planning. We used all knowledge gained during this process to make recommendations on potential attractions to include on the site.

In 2018 we were further engaged to produce an independent third-party market analysis for third-party leisure developments at the Royalmount project in Montréal. The purpose of the study was primarily to identify market demand for Legoland Discovery Centre and Sea Life Aquarium attractions in the new development.

 

The Result: 

The result of these projects were two comprehensively researched market studies, a collection of attraction recommendations suitable to the complex and master planning for two major attraction options, both of which are currently under development and nearing construction.
